Why
The Scottish highlands are a “must-see” if you love hiking, mountains and trekking, but especially to experience a unique mountain sports culture.During the day the hike and/or scramble in the mountains. In the evening you can take a hot shower and drink a whisky near the fireplace. The wet or foggy clothes can be dried in a special drying room.
Not only the hikes make this trip unique. A Mountain Leader who is trained in the UK teaches you hillwalking techniques so you can undertake your own hikes and treks in mountains. Subscribe for the travel in 2018.
Level
This trip is suited for everyone who is healthy, fit and works out on a regular basis. Treks and hikes of this level are either easy or mediocre in length or short and intensive.
The hikes take place in midrange terrain. The length of the hikes is an average of 5/7 hours with a backpack of 10 kg.

Included
Overnight stay in the cottage and food is included in the price.

Do I need mountain walking or trekking experience?
Previous walking/trekking experience is not required while you learn the skills from a Mountain Leader.
What equipment do I need to pack?
After registration you will receive the equipment list.
Is Scotland expensive?
Keep in mind that prices a higher than for example in the Netherlands.
What’s the daily walking distance?
This varies per day. On average we walk 5 to 6 hours with a pack weight of 8 to 10 KG’s.
